I’m in Utah. I’ve been looking at getting a fixed blade knife, and there are a LOT of choices. Winning this would help make my decision a lot easier, plus it looks to be light, which would make it a lot easier to carry around the hills.

I would like to win the knife because I currently mentor 6 teenagers. I have been teaching them survival skills. If I win the knife, I will present it to the kid that does the best during our survival trip in mid july. I wish I could give them each a knife for working so hard but since my employent situation has changed last month I can’t afford to buy 6 awesome knives. I hope I win for sure.

I gave my daughter a shotgun this past christmas,, and it turns out she loves to hunt. Such a quality skinner knife would ensure that there is very little waste when she field dresses her catch. My first knife was a Buck and I think her first knife should also be a Buck. Its like owning a legend.

This is my first trip to this outstanding site. I’d love to win the knife, since I’ve had to take early retirement because of injuries. Now I have time to go back to the outdoor experiences that help shape my life: hunting; fishing; hiking and camping. Here in Oklahoma, I believe it’s a state law that you MUST carry a knife on your person at all times… Or at least it should be. My very 1st knife was a Buck, and I’d love to own another one!!
