For a while now I’ve been carrying a Kershaw RAM 1910 folding knife as my every-day-carry blade. I love this little knife. It’s held up to everything I’ve put it through, but it’s starting to feel a bit stale. I’m ready to try something else out as an every day knife.

I’m debating switching to a small fixed blade, like the new ESEE Candiru. I carried a small fixed blade along with the Kershaw for a few months and decided I didn’t like it, but it was a bit larger and the Kershaw was just more convenient in the back pocket.

Anyone out there have any experiences they’d like to share regarding carrying a small fixed blade full-time?
