knife handle liners

I ordered some orange G10 sheets to make liners for my ESEE-5, but after some trial, error, and research, I’ve discovered I am going to have to put that project on hold to get it done correctly. I do not have the skill nor tools currently to produce the results I want.

The good news is, I found someone who is selling exactly what I want at a fair price and will be ordering them, and will re-tackle the knife liner project in the future after obtaining some tools I need.

Speaking of the ESEE-5, don’t forget ESEE and I have teamed up to give away a black ESEE-5 and Maxpedition pack/kit.

firearms in your survival kit

Linoge at Walls of the City brings up a great point: there has been a lot of mainstreaming of the survival/prepping mindset, but it always seems to lack in one aspect; the use of firearms as a survival tool.

What firearms do you have, or are considering for your survival kit?

Right now, for me it’s an AR-15 rifle and a 1911. Thinking about that same-chambering idea Linoge brings up in his post. It’s a good excuse to buy more guns, anyway.
